Welcome to Our Club!

The Itasca SnowRangers Club was established in 1972 by a select few of volunteers, who many to this day along with others still volunteer their time to trail maintenance, groomer repair, fund raising, and of course snowmobile safety.

The club was originally established to provide trails from the Greenway area (Marble and Calumet) to Grand Rapids and the Lawrence Lake area. However, back in those days much of the land that the trails needed to cross was owned by local mining companies. Due to liability reasons those companies did not want the trails on their property. So for many years the trails were deemed unofficial rogue trials. When Itasca county finally helped accept liability for its trails, the “Keystone Trail” was born and became a true grant-in-aid trail.

The grooming back then was done with 2 Polaris Voyager Snowmobiles pulling cutters and packers purchased with fund raising money. Now, the grooming is done with a newer Piston Bully and due to the traffic on our trails we groom a minimum of twice a week with dedicated volunteers whom due all the work with no compensation.

We are a very proud club with a long history of a love for the great sport of snowmobiling which you will feel as well when you ride on our wide well maintained trail system. We always welcome new members of all ages to the club and are looking for many new people to enjoy this great sport!
